Massachusetts Prevention Alliance (MAPA) Invites Dr. Eden Evins to Present Marijuana-Psychosis Link Research

Dr. Eden Evins, Founding Director of MGH’s Center for Addiction Medicine and Harvard Medical School Professor of Psychiatry, will present recent findings on the interaction between marijuana use and psychosis at an upcoming MAPA conference. The luncheon event will focus on advances in marijuana research within the past five years and how recent findings impact addiction, mental health and public policy within Massachusetts. The discussion will also host Dr. Nora Volkow, Director of the National Institute On Drug Abuse at the National Institutes of Health; Alex Berenson, award-winning author and former New York Times reporter; and Will Jones III, Communications and Outreach Associate at Smart Approaches to Marijuana.

The event will be held at the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum in Boston on Wednesday, June 5, from 12 to 2 p.m. Tickets cost $75 per person and pre-registration for the event is required, as seating will be limited.
